Long distance LOVE
It was another hectic day for Anne as she had started her class while she had to handle her children's schedules as well as hers. But she did manage to go through them as usual. Plus with Jaejoong in her life now, everything seemed so easy and less stressful for her. Jaejoong would wake her up every morning with a phone call. “Good morning, my princess. I miss you and the kids so much. Especially your kisses and your smiles.” “ Morning, Jae. I miss you so much too. And that too.” Anne giggled feeling so naïve as though she felt in love for the first time. It was more that she could ever asked for. Jaejoong would also text her every single breaktime just to check on her.
She was so blessed and overwhelmed by his love and affection towards her. She felt like her life has just begun. That made all worth while for both of them. “ Chunnie, looks like our Jaejoongie here is madly in love. Just look at the way he smiles by himself, so naïve yet so stylish. I wonder when will I finally find my true love.” Junsu sighed as he told Yuchun with excitement. “ Yup, you can say that again, Junsu. Jaejoongie's madly in love alright. No doubt about it.” Yuchun agreed with him. He teased Junsu some more. “ But for you, I think the chances are very slim.” That made Junsu ran after him surrounding Jaejoong.
“Chunnie, why are you two running around like that?” Jaejoong just finished messaging Anne. Both of them stopped and took a deep breath. “Chunnie said I couldn't find my true love, Jaejoongie. It's not funny okay?” Junsu smirked at Yuchun as he told Jaejoong what was going on. “Chunnie, you shouldn't be teasing Junsu like that.” Jaejoong started his 'Omma lectures'. He was so famous for being the mother of the group because he was more concerned about the member's health more than anyone else. “I'm so sorry, Junsu. I won't tease you anymore.” Yuchun apologized. “That's better.” Jaejoong smiled looking at both of his members. He too was so grateful to fall in love with a woman like Anne. Eventhough their world were different but their relationship were getting stronger each day.
Until one day, while Anne was reading online Korean news, she was a bit shocked to see a picture of Jaejoong with some girl at a fancy restaurant that was taken a few days ago. The headline printed 'Hero Jaejoong secret girlfriend'. She was so frustrated that she decided to let him go. She didn't think that Jaejoong would lie to her like this. Her cellphone started ringing the minute the news was on paper. It was Jaejoong calling her but she didn't have a heart to pick up. She felt like she'd been cheated all over again. Her happy so-called world have started crumbling down deep into a mist of silence.
Meanwhile back at Jaejoong's apartment, all the guys were surrounding him like vicious tigers. “ Jaejoongie, was the story true? About you and that girl?” Junsu asked. “Yeah Jaejoongie, is it true? Tell us.” Yunho said. “ It's not true and she's not my girlfriend. She was my classmate from high school. I haven't see her for 10 years, that's why we went to a quiet restaurant to chat that's all.” Jaejoong explained. “ Have you spoken to Anne yet? She must be worried by now.” Yunho asked again. “ I tried but she didn't pick up the phone. What am I going to do?” Jaejoong was very worried about her. He knew that she must be hurt right now. “Why not you go and see her instead? We'll go together and convince her. I'll call our manager right now.” Yunho suggested and quickly called their manager about their vacation in Japan. “ Yeah, sure Yunho. I think you guys deserve a big break. I'll let our management know immediately. I'll see you back in 5 days' time.” Johnny hyung said. “ All settled. I've already booked our flight for tonight. Let's get packing guys. Don't worry so much, Jae. Everything's going to be alright. Trust me.” Yunho pat on Jaejoong's shoulder.
Their flight were leaving at 9:00PM. They sat in first class seats so that people won't recognize them. They arrived in Tokyo around midnight so they stayed at the hotel for the night. Jaejoong slept with Yuchun while Yunho with Junsu and Changmin. He tried calling Anne again with his Japanese line but still no answer. Anne knew his cellphone number so he tried calling using Yuchun's phone. Finally, there was an answer but she just kept quiet. “ Anne, it's me. Don't turn off the phone. Listen to me just this once. I want to tell you that me and that girl are just friends. She was my former classmate from high school and I haven't see her until a few days ago. I'm so sorry I didn't get the chance to tell you until the paparazzi made a news out of it. Talk to me, princess. Don't keep quiet like that. I'm worried sick about you.” Jaejoong explained every detail to her so that she doesn't misunderstand again.
“ Thanks for explaining to me, Jae. But please let me cool down first. I'm trying to digest your explanation. I'll talk to you later okay?” Anne said and hung up. Yuchun, who was hearing the conversation asked about the situation. “ She said she needed time to think first. What I am going to do?” Jaejoong sat down looking down at his feet. “Don't worry, Jaejoongie. She'll understand. Woman is unpredictable when it comes to this kind of situation. You just need to give her some time to think. Don't pressure her.” Yuchun comforted him. “ Thanks Chunnie. I really needed that piece of advice. Come on, let's get some sleep first. I'm going to go and see her first thing in the morning.” Jaejoong announced before he closed his eyes and lost in slumber land.
Next morning around 4:00AM, Jaejoong woke up and get ready to go to Anne's house. It took him only 20 minutes from the hotel to get there. Anne was already up and getting ready for class. He knocked on her door. She quickly answered the door and was surprise to see Jaejoong in front of her. “What are you doing here, Jae? I thought you were in Seoul.” Anne asked like she had seen a ghost.
“I was so worried about you that I, I mean we decided to come here to check on you. Please forgive me, princess. I didn't mean to make you sad and mad at the same time. I never thought the paparazzi could get a hold of the picture.” Jaejoong explained while holding her hands. “I've thought about it last night and since you made it all the from Seoul just to explain it to me, I'll forgive you this time. But only this time, okay? Tell me, is the guys with you right now?” Anne smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Yup, they're back at the hotel, probably sleeping. I couldn't wait for them so here I am. I miss you so much dear.Where are my little angels?” He carried her into the apartment and put her down at the sofa. “They're still asleep, Jae. They usually wake up around 6:00AM. I don't want them to get up so early in the morning.” Anne got up and made him a cup of tea. He followed her to the kitchen. “So now, we have a little time to ourselves right?” Jaejoong quickly hugged her waist from behind and started kissing her neck gently. It gave her goosebumps all over.
Then, he turned her around facing him and said, “ Anne, I know the time is not right, but I just couldn't wait any longer. I have something I've been longing to give you. I've waited for this moment since you accepted my love and now I hope we could be together forever. Will you marry me, Anne?” Jaejoong knelt in front of her holding the ring box, custom made. There were a pair of platinum rings inside the box, one had an initial J with diamonds all over it and the other one was carved with an initial A which had a simple writing 'My pretty angels, Mira and Kimi'. Anne knew this day and moment would come so she was fully prepared. “Jae, I do want to marry you but still we have to consider others too like my family and yours. I will accept your proposal but after we have settle everything. I hope you understand dear. I don't want us to be apart just because of a small problem after we get married. I know you know that marrying a woman is like your marrying into somebody's family right? So, I want you to get to know my family, my religion and culture as I am going to get to know yours.” Anne put her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.
The warmth of her body made Jaejoong felt comfortable and soothing. So, in the end they have decided to take it slowly and steady. Although deep inside they wanted to just get married and have a nice simple life. That wouldn't be so easy as they are two worlds' apart. Suddenly, Jaejoong's cellphone rang. It was Yuchun “ Where are you Jaejoongie? We are worried sick about you. Junsu nearly called the police you know.” Yuchun said trying not to giggle. But Jaejoong could hear from the back that the others were giggling and laughing non stop. “ Yeah right, Chunnie. I could hear our brothers laughing like monkeys. And so you said Junsu nearly freaked out because I was gone? Very convincing.” Jaejoong said while putting them on speaker so that Anne could hear as well.
“Man, I thought you would fell for it. Stop it guys, he could hear you on the phone. So, how is it going? You're at Anne's house now right? And she's listening to our conversation right now. Hi, Anne.” Yuchun also put Jaejoong on loud speaker so that everyone could hear him. “Hey there Yuchun. Hi guys. Come on over for breakfast. I'm making bibimbap for breakfast. Jae here is going to help me so see you later guys.” Anne ended her conversation and started to prepare the ingredients. “ Yeah, I got to go. See you guys later. Bye.” Jaejoong also ended his conversation and followed her into the kitchen. “ He sure is lucky to have her. Let's get ready first and then go to Anne's house.” Yuchun said and everyone agreed. “ Anne, you don't have to cook today. I'll be your chef okay? You just sit here and wait. This won't take too long.” Jaejoong smiled and led her to her stool where she just sat and watched him cook. Around 6:00 AM, she woke up her children and bathed them. Suddenly, there was a knock at her door. There stood all for of them dressed in a lot of clothes so that they won't get recognize by their fans. It was a must for them.
“ Hi guys, come on in. Breakfast will be ready in a minute, isn't that right Jae?” Anne said and led them to her dining table. “Yeah, in a minute.” Jaejoong said. “Wow, I can't wait to eat.”Changmin said with pleasure. Junsu and Yuchun agreed with him. Yunho just smiled. He knew Jaejoong's cooking would be delicious. “Mama, all uncles are here! I'm so happy!” Kimi shouted happily and hugged them. All of them ate breakfast happily and chatted cheerfully. “Jae, how did you manage to do it? Anne, tell us please..” Junsu asked both of them eagerly. Both of them smiled and said, “Love” . “Wow, that's amazing! I hope I find a girl just like you Anne.” Changmin smiled happily. Around 8:00PM, Anne went out together with her children, Jaejoong and the guys. All of them went back to the hotel except for Jaejoong. He accompanied Anne by sending her and the children to school. When they arrived at her school, they beaded goodbyes and Jaejoong watched her disappeared into the crowd. Then he sent Kimi to his kindergarten near Anne's school. Some of the mothers did recognize him but he just ignored them. “Study smart and play nice okay, Kimi? Uncle Jae will come and pick you up after school.” Jaejoong said while tidying Kimi's tie. “Really, Uncle Jae? That is so wonderful! I'll see you later, bye Uncle Jae.” Kimi said eagerly and run off happily with his schoolmates.
Jaejoong was so happy seeing Anne, Mira and Kimi again. He felt all his worries just disappeared and left with only joy and happiness. While Jaejoong was waiting Anne back at the hotel, there was a message from an unknown caller. 'Hi, JJ. This is Yuki. I know you have forgotten about me but I still remember how you made me a princess for a night. I will not forget it until I die. I'll be keeping in touch with you from time to time. Love, Yuki.' After he read the message, he quickly showed it to the guys.
“Are you kidding me, Jae? How could somebody know your number because we are using a private line? We have to get into the bottom of this before Anne knows about it.” Yuchun declared as they examined the message. All of them checked their contact number to see if the number matched with their numbers but they failed to find a single number that matches the unknown number. “This calls for a backup plan.” Yunho said and called a friend of him. ' Hey, man. I need your help a.s.a.p. Could you check this number for me? It's very urgent. Thanks, dude.' Yunho ended his conversation and smiled to his brothers. “ We'll be hearing from my friend in just a few seconds.” He said firmly while waiting patiently for the phone call. Just then, his phone rang. It was his friend, Taewoon. “Really man? Thanks bro.” Yunho smiled as he ended his conversation. “Guess what I've found? That Yuki is just a stalker. Nothing big really. Jaejoongie, you're safe. You have to change your number again and this time you have to make it into private number. It's for your own safety.” He announced and looked directly at Jaejoong who was listening tentively. He just nod his head with agreement.
Everyone just looked and continued with whatever they were doing. Junsu and Yuchun were busy with their computer games. While Changmin was practicing his songs through his ipod player tuck in his pocket. Yunho continued practicing his dance choreography for their next show. Jaejoong looked at his watch and took off. He wanted to pick up the kids at their schools. Today, Anne has a late discussion with her classmates after class. After picking up both Mira and Kimi, Jaejoong brought them to the hotel and had lunch with the guys at a sushi bar not far from their hotel. All of them had fun eating and playing with Mira and Kimi. “Guys, could you watch over the kids while I go and pick up Anne from her class discussion.” Jaejoong said and all of them just nod with agreement. He hurriedly went out and took a cab to the university. Just then, his phone rang. It was Anne. 'Hi Jae, where are you? Are you coming or not?” Anne asked happily. “ Yeah, I'm on my way now. I'll be there in a few minutes.” Jaejoong said and hung up. From afar, he could see Anne was standing near the entrance of her university, waiting patiently for him. The cab stopped in front of her and that made her startled. “My princess.” Jaejoong walked out of the cab and hugged her. “ Jae, you came.” Anne hugged him back and kissed his cheek. Both of them went into the cab that took them back to the hotel. “ Thanks Jae for picking me up. You don't need to do this, really.” Anne said while squeezing his hands. “It's okay, Anne. I want to see my princess safe and sound. It's been long since we last met. I haven't had the chance to hug you and kiss you yet.” Jaejoong smiled as he put his arm around her waist. She leaned on his chest listening to his heartbeat. “ I missed hearing your heartbeat, Jae. It feels so good.” Anne said while closing her eyes and listening to Jaejoong's heartbeat. “ I missed smelling your perfume my princess. I missed everything about you, Anne.” Jaejoong lifted up her face in front of his and started kissing her passionately. It made them blushed because they just remembered that they were in a cab.
When they arrived at the hotel, all of the members including Mira and Kimi were waiting for them happily. “Mama, you're here. Welcome back.” Kimi shouted excitedly and hugged her body. “Kimi, did you behave with all the uncles while I'm gone?” Anne asked him. Kimi smiled and said, “Yeah, Mama. Me and Mira went to eat with the uncles. It was so much fun. I wish you could come too.” “ Okay, tonight I'll cook for all you guys!” She smiled and winked at Jaejoong who was watching her tentatively. “ Uncle Jae will help Mama too, right?” Jaejoong winked back at Anne as he lifted Kimi onto his shoulders. “ That's right!” Kimi shouted and everyone laughed.
That evening, they all had a wonderful dinner and talked happily. Jaejoong helped Anne in the kitchen with the dishes and the guys were busy playing with Kimi and Mira. They even played PS3 together. Awhile later, it was time for Mira and Kimi 's bedtime. “Good night, uncles. I had fun playing with you today. Mira had fun too.” Kimi said and quickly grabbed Jaejoong's hand. Anne already took Mira to her bedroom. Then, when Jaejoong entered her bedroom, Mira was already fast asleep. Kimi wished Anne and Jaejoong good night and sleep soundly a minute later. “ Thanks Jae. I mean for taking care of them. I-I-I...” Before she could say anything, Jaejoong quickly kissed her lips,hugging her tightly in his arms. Anne felt safe with him.
When they went to the living room, the others were still playing PS3. “Anne, are they asleep now?” Yunho asked. “Yeah, they are sleeping soundly now. I want to thank you guys for taking care of them today. Thank you so much, guys.” Anne smiled and hugged them one by one. Junsu and Yoochun whom were playing paused the game just to hug her back. “It's okay, Anne. You're like a family to us now. It's no big deal.” Yoochun answered in English just to piss everyone off. “ Yoochun, you just doing it on purpose right?” Anne laughed. “ Yup, it's just for fun. It's been long since I used this language with anyone.” Yoochun laughed too. The other watching them talking in foreign language were puzzled. “Yoochunna,what are you saying to Anne?” All of us don't speak English that good, you know.” Junsu asked. “It's a secret you know.” Yoochun smiled. “ Don't worry you guys. It's just a formal conversation, really.” Anne explained.
“I guess we better get going, Anne. Thanks for the dinner.” Yunho said and hugged her. “You are most welcome, Yunho. I'm so happy you guys came here to see me.” Anne hugged back. “ No, thank you for your warm hospitality and cooking.” Changmin added and hugged her. Then, she hugged Yoochun and Junsu. Both of them beaded her good night and all of them took a cab to the hotel. Jaejoong was left there to accompany Anne for the night before they head back to Seoul tomorrow morning. Both of them were sitting on the couch in her small and cozy living room. Although her house was smaller than the apartment she lived in Seoul but there was no different. The feeling was still the same. Jaejoong could feel that he was at home.
“What were you thinking just now? You looked like something was on your mind just now.” Anne faced him and straightened up her body. “Nothing my princess. I was thinking about us and the feeling when I'm with you, so comfortable and cozy. Thank you Anne for giving me the chance to love you. I know our world are different but I know we could be happy together with the kids.” Jaejoong explained tentatively. Anne's heart started beating fast and she had cold sweat. She smiled and hugged him. “ Thank you too for loving me Jae. I know we will.” Anne had prepared a bed for Jae next to her in her bedroom. “ Is it okay for me to sleep here with you tonight? I can sleep outside in the living room.” Jaejoong asked rather puzzled. She smiled and said, “ Yeah, I trust you Jae.” He was so happy that she trusted him now. As they lay down side by side, Anne turned her body facing him as he did the same thing. “ Are you sleepy now?” She asked him. “ No, not yet. Just going to...” He didn't finish his sentence because Anne was kissing him slightly on his lips.
Then, she quickly faced the other side. That made Jaejoong puzzled. “Anne, look at me. Did I do something wrong?” He asked while hugging her from behind. “ I'm sorry, I shouldn't kiss you in this situation. I don't want us to cross the border yet.” She said as she turned her body around. “ Don't be sorry Anne. I won't let us do what we promised each other but it's not like you can't kiss me. I want you to kiss me like always. You know I miss you so much Anne.” Jaejoong smiled and kissed her on her lips. She missed his kiss so much. After a while, both of them fell into a deep and blissful sleep while hugging each other.
