Chapter Two:Part One

A memorable holiday- a square love?

It has been a month and a half since Anne stayed in Japan with her children, so, it was time for her mid- term break. At first she wanted to stay in Tokyo and enjoyed her holiday by going sight- seeing with her children but one of her course mate suggested her to go for a tour in Seoul,Korea. Luckily, her friend, Kim Hyung Joon who used to live in Seoul had an apartment at Seoul Tower building. He offered Anne to stay at his apartment and enjoyed her holiday there instead of staying in Tokyo. It took her quite a long time to decide whether she should go or not. But finally, she agreed with him. Hyung Chun immediately booked tickets for three to Seoul and gave her the address of his apartment as well as the keys so that she wouldn't have any problem going to his place.

Anne would be staying in Seoul for a week so she had better be ready to experience the most memorable holiday with her children. That was what her friend said to her when he sent them to the airport that morning. It was summer in Seoul so the weather was just nice, felt like home-Malaysia. It took only a few hours from Tokyo to Seoul so, they arrived there around 12 noon. The moment they arrived, Anne quickly took pictures of her children. They were both so happy to spend their holiday in Seoul with their mother. After taking pictures for her album, she led her children outside the airport where they took a cab to her friends' place at Seoul Tower. It took them another 2 hours to get there because of the traffic jam. “ Here we are, Madam, Seoul Tower building. The fare is 100 won,”said the cab driver in Korean language. Anne quickly paid the fare and thanked the driver for helping her with her children. 

“Mama, are we here yet?”asked Kimi anxiously. Mira also was mumbling her usual baby talk to her mother. Anne smiled and said, “Yes,honey. We're here.” Without hesitation, they entered the elevator that took them to third floor of the building. Suddenly, there were voices coming from outside yelling to open the elevator door. She quickly pressed the open button and there were three familiar faces smiling at her. One of them was Lee Teuk of Super Junior and the other two were Heechul and Shindong. “Thanks for holding the door for us.” Lee Teuk politely thanked her. “Oh, not at all.” Anne smiled back.

“I'm Lee Teuk and these are my friends, Heechul and Shindong.” He quickly introduced himself and his friends. But Anne knew who they were, Super Junior! One of the most popular group in Korea. It was her lucky day. “ Nice to meet you guys. I'm Anne and these two are my babies, Mira and Kimi.” Anne introduced herself and her children. “Mama, I am a big boy now!” Kimi exclaimed and crossed his arms. “Alright, alright. Sorry about that guys. This big boy here is my fun loving son, Kimi.”She smiled as she patted Kimi's shoulders.

Mira, who was sitting in her wheelchair started mumbling her baby talk. “ See mama, Mira wants a great introduction too.” Kimi explained. “Okay, my dear. And this beautiful girl here is my daughter, Mira. She's Kimi's big sister.” Anne finally finished her introduction. The three guys were very excited to meet them and they talked a bit more until they came to Anne's apartment numbered 3006. They said their goodbyes and left for their apartment numbered 3010. When Anne entered into the apartment, it was so clean and smelled really nice. Although her friend hasn't stay there for ages but the house was still in one piece. But one thing was for sure that she needed to go to the market tomorrow to buy food supply for the whole week. It was 5.30 p.m. After Anne had bathed her children, suddenly, there was a knock at the door. She was shocked to see Lee Teuk at the front door.

“Hi there Anne. I was thinking of inviting you and the kids to go out for dinner now. If it's okay with you?” Lee Teuk said politely. “Hi, come on in. I had just finished bathing the children. And yes, I would love to have dinner with you. If you could just wait, I'll go and get change first.” Anne replied and went inside her bedroom. So, Lee Teuk sat and played with Kimi and Mira while they were waiting for Anne. “Alright then, let's go kids. Uncle Lee Teuk is going to take us for dinner.” She appeared from her bedroom wearing white tank tops and a black jeans. Her neatly pony-tailed hair was tied with a white ribbon. Lee Teuk was speechless to see her and all he could do was staring at her. “What? What's wrong Lee Teuk? Is there something wrong with my shirt?” She asked looking a bit puzzled. “No, nothing's wrong. You are just perfect. I mean, everything is just perfect.” He smiled back. A few minutes afterwards, they were off to a sushi restaurant where it was just a few blocks from their apartment. Although it was a few minutes walk, Lee Teuk still took his car so that it was easier for Anne and her children.

When they arrived, the place had less customers so they got a table by the window of the restaurant. The food there was delicious and halal because it was a tourists' attraction from various countries whom had stayed in Seoul. The owner himself was a Muslim who was married to a Korean woman. Then, he decided to open a halal sushi restaurant where all Muslims and non- Muslims people can enjoy eating there. “Thanks Lee Teuk, for bringing us here. The atmosphere is so warm and cozy, I feel like home. The kids really enjoyed eating here.” Anne thanked him. “You are most welcome. I really like eating here so much that I wanted you to try the food here. I know you're from Malaysia so I guess you eat halal food. So, here we are.”He explained. It was the first time a guy whom had met her for only a couple of hours understood her quickly without any hesitation. It was like love at first sight, Anne and Lee Teuk. But both of them just kept it to themselves. “Really? How did you know we were from Malaysia? You have a sixth sense huh?” Anne asked suspiciously. “Well, actually it was Kimi here who told me that you guys are from Malaysia. So, you could say I did a background check on you.” Lee Teuk smiled shyly. All of them laughed and they really enjoyed themselves.

The time was 9 p.m when they arrived at the apartment. Lee Teuk helped Anne to carry out the wheelchair from the car and carried Mira out as well. Then, he carried Kimi who was sleeping soundly until they reached Anne's apartment, 3006. “ Well, here we are. Why don't you come in and have some tea with me? It will only take a minute to put Mira to bed. Please?” Anne suggested and Lee Teuk agreed to the invitation. Afterwards, it was only both of them in the kitchen. The kids has gone to bed early because it was passed their bedtime already. Anne quickly made a pot of tea and poured it into two big cups that has a flowered pattern on each surface of the cup. Lee Teuk watched her closely, the way she made the tea and pouring the tea. It made Anne a bit nervous and she quickly asked. “ Is there anything wrong with me? Why are you staring at me? You made me feel awkward right now.” 

“ Really? I'm sorry, it's just that I have never met a woman who are beautiful as you and talented in adapting the Korean culture. Most of the Korean ladies are lack of their own culture.” Lee Teuk smiled.

He suddenly moved a little closer to her that she felt her heart beating rapidly. She tried to backed away but the kitchen counter was too small for her to do that. So, now she was trapped at the end of the counter where there was nowhere to go but through Lee Teuk. “ I know I'm not supposed to do this but I just couldn't help myself. Please forgive me, Anne.” He immediately pulled out a beautiful platinum necklace with a heart shaped pendant carved T from his pocket and wore it on her slender neck. Anne was so surprised when he gave her a kiss on her forehead and whispered. “ I hope you like the present I've given you. I know it's not that much but I really hope that our relationship will last forever.”

Before Lee Teuk left, they exchanged their phone numbers and said goodnight to each other. Anne had never felt so happy in her entire life after what had happened in her first marriage. She doesn't want to remember any of her bad memories that she had thrown away years ago. If it was destined for her to meet Lee Teuk then she was very lucky to meet a guy whom like her for who she was and not for who she used to be. It was like a fairytale to her remembering the moments when Lee Teuk gave her the necklace and also the kiss. The next morning, after having breakfast with the her children, Lee Teuk called her and told her that he was going to be busy the whole day because of his tight schedule with KM net at that time. “Don't worry Lee Teuk. I'm going to be just fine with the kids. If anything happen, I'll let you know alright? Bye.” Anne ended her conversation with him and went out to throw the garbage. The children were watching anime at that time so she doesn't has any problem to leave them for a while. On her way up to her apartment, she met Heechul who was on his way up to his apartment. “Hi, good morning. If I'm not mistaken you're Anne from apartment 3006 right? I'm Heechul, I'm with Lee Teuk and Shindong yesterday in the elevator.” He quickly introduced himself and shook her hand. “ Yeah, I still remember you Heechul. By the way nice to meet you again.” Anne smiled and continued. “Heechul, can I invite you for a cup of tea? If you are not busy that is.” “Of course, I would love to have tea with you.” He answered.

While Anne was trying to get the keys from her pocket, it suddenly fell on the floor. Without hesitation, both of them quickly tried to pick up the keys but ended up holding each others hand. Something triggered a spark between the two of them at that moment and they found themselves blushing with no reason. “ I'm sorry, Anne. I didn't mean to, I mean...” Heechul was lost of words and started blushing again. “ It's okay, I understand. You don't have to be sorry about that Heechul. Come on in and make yourself at home.” Anne said and led him into the living room where the kids were watching anime. Next thing, Heechul was playing with the kids and they were having a lot of fun. Meanwhile in the kitchen, Anne was busy preparing a pot of tea for them. Anne invited him to the kitchen leaving the children to play on their own.

“ Nice place you got here, Anne.” Heechul smiled while drinking the tea. She answered, “ Yeah, it really is a nice place. My colleague owns this place and I'll be staying for just one week. Then, I'll be heading back to Tokyo next Sunday.” “ I wish you could stay for a bit longer, I would like to show interesting places in Seoul.” he added and suddenly he exclaimed. “ Ah, I've got an idea! How about I'll take you and the kids to Jeju Island? Let me see...How tomorrow sounds like?” “ Are you sure? You don't have to go to work tomorrow?” She asked curiously. “ You are joking right? Come on Heechul, you don't have to do that, you know.”She teased him but Heechul was very determined with his invitation. He made several phone calls to his manager and Super Junior members including Lee Teuk.

“ Well, I've called all of them and only 6 of us are free for the next two days including me of course.” Heechul explained. “ Who will be going with us?” Anne asked. “ There will be Lee Teuk, Kibum, Eunhyuk, Siwon and Donghae.” He said smiling happily. “ Heechul, can I ask you a favour? I want to go to the market and buy some groceries. Would you mind babysitting the kids for awhile? I won't be long, please?” Anne pleaded and that made Heechul agreed instantly. After changing her clothes into a black top and jeans, she quickly put on her shopping hat which was round and has a pink ribbon lace tied around the hat. She also carried her grocery bag. Heechul just watched astonishingly and admiring her beauty. He said, “ Wow, you look so beautiful!” Heechul quickly walked up to her, put his arms around her shoulder and kissed her on her lips. She was surprised and blushed at the same time. 'He was so unpredictable', Anne thought to herself smiling. As she walked to the market, she kept thinking about the kiss she had with Heechul. When she reached the market, she started to search for fresh seafood, fishes and vegetables.

On her way home, she stopped at the grocery store and bought some fresh fruits and milk for her children. Meanwhile, Heechul too was surprised himself. He couldn't stop thinking about the kiss and her face blushing. It made his face blushed too. “ Uncle Heechul, why are you smiling by yourself? Come and play with us!” Kimi exclaimed. “ Alright, let's play!” He answered happily. Later, there came a knock on the door. It was Anne who just got back from the market. Without hesitation, Heechul opened the door and took the groceries from her and led her to the kitchen stool. 

“ So, how was your shopping?” he asked smiling as he put the bag on the kitchen counter. “Great! I don't have any problem finding the market and I even bought fruits and milk for the kids.” She said smiling back at him but her heart was racing like a bullet train. She still remembered how Heechul kissed her on her lips. “Anne, about what happened a few hours ago. What I'm trying to say is that I fell in love with you the first time we met. I know this may sound ridiculous but I want you to be my girl.” He finally confessed his true feelings to Anne. She could not say a word, but her feelings for him just came naturally. She too, liked him very much. She quickly told him what she told Lee Teuk last night that she will think about it.

Heechul respected her answered and that he would wait for her. Time passed very quickly for Anne and Heechul. It was already noon, so, Heechul had to get back to KM net for another show. Both of them bead farewell and also exchanged phone numbers. 

Afterwards, Anne cooked lunch for the kids and they ate happily. That night, after putting the kids to bed around 8.30p.m. , there was a knock at the door. She was wondering who could it be this time of the night. “ Who is it?” She asked. “ It's me, Lee Teuk.” He answered cheerfully. When she opened the door, she was surprised to see Lee Teuk with a big bouquet of red roses. He bought them especially for her. It meant 'I Love You Forever'. Anne was so touched and gave him a kiss on his right cheek. She invited him in for a coffee. They sat together on the couch drinking coffee. Although Anne seldom drank coffee, but still she does not want to disappoint Lee Teuk. “Anne, you know that you can't drink coffee often, it's not good for you.” Lee Teuk said and took her mug from her hands. “But..I want to taste the coffee. It's been long since I had one. Please Lee Teuk, just this once.” Anne pleaded and making puppy eyes at him. “ Alright, alright, you can have it but promise me, after this no more coffee okay?” He smiled and gave back her mug. “ You know what I like about you? It's you that made me fall in love with you. The way you talk, the way you laugh, everything about you are so special, Anne.” He continued looking straight into her eyes. She finally said after a long pause. “I like you too, Lee Teuk. You're so kind and understanding but I don't want to be hurt the second time. I tried to forget the past but it's so hard for me to do it by myself. My children are my everything to me now. I know I may sound selfish but I just want you to know that I'm not ready yet, I really hope you will understand, Lee Teuk.” “ Anne, I do understand. Please give me a chance and we'll work things out together. You're not alone anymore, you have me now.” Lee Teuk said and hugged her tightly. She felt so safe at that moment. She longed for someone to hold her in his arms and said that everything was going to be just fine.

“ Thanks for being here with me. I've been so alone in my world that, I kind of forget how to love someone again.” She thanked him and hugged him back. They continued talking for an hour or so. It's not long before Lee Teuk started yawning and getting sleepy. “ I think I better get going, tomorrow is a new day. We'll be going to Jeju Island around 7 a.m. Don't forget to pack you things okay?” He reminded her. “ Okay Lee Teuk. I'll see you tomorrow. And one more thing...” She quickly put her arms around his neck and gave him a kiss on his lips. “Goodnight” She murmured and smiled. Lee Teuk went back home happily and when the guys asked him, he told them that he'd fallen in love. “ What? You're joking right? How could you met a girl and fell for her straight away?” Eunhyuk asked looking a bit puzzle. “ That's why it's called love at first sight, Yukie. You'll know when you see one.” Heechul added smiling shyly. “ Hyung, you mean you too had a crush on a girl? Wow! This is good news. I'd better tell the others.” Eunhyuk said to Heechul and ran off to tell the other members about the news.

Lee Teuk and Heechul just exchanged looks at each other and went to bed. The next morning, Anne was already up and made breakfast for her kids and bathed them. She even made bentou for Super Junior. Just enough for all of them. Not long after that, there was a knock at the door. “Kimi, get the door would you honey? Mama's a bit busy right now.” Anne requested her son to get the door.

“ Uncle Lee Teuk! Uncle Heechul! Mama, the uncles are here.” Kimi exclaimed and hugged both of them. Just right behind them were Kibum, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon. “ You must be the other Super Junior right uncles?” Kimi asked excitedly. “Yes, we are. You must be Kimi, right? Uncle Lee Teuk told us all about you.” Siwon answered smiling. Without hesitation, Kimi hugged the rest of them and invited them into the apartment.

Lee Teuk quickly went to see Anne at the kitchen. She was wearing a pink top and black jeans. Her hair was tied into a ponytail with a pink ribbon lace. Lee Teuk who was watching her with anticipation immediately hugged her from behind and gave her a kiss on her shoulder. That made Anne blushed and she stopped Lee Teuk just before Heechul discovered them in the kitchen and said.

“ Morning Heechul! I thought the others isn't here yet. Judging by the noise outside, I think all of them are here right?” “ Yeah, come on. I want you to meet them. Hyung, what are you waiting for? Let's go outside.” Heechul said and grabbed both of them by their arms and led them into the living room.

“Guys, listen up! This is our beloved girlfriend and neighbour Anne. This is Kibum, our King of dramas.” Heechul started making the introductions. “ Hi, nice to meet you Kibum. I know you are very fluent in English right?” Anne asked smiling. “Yeah, but not as fluent as you. I heard from the guys that you're an English teacher right?” Kibum smiled back and he spoke in English to her. “ Yeah, I am a teacher. But I'm studying now at Tokyo University for a motor action training course. It's for my daughter, Mira.” She answered in English too. Now, both of them were speaking in English and the others just listen attentively. “ Oh, I see...” Before he could answer the question, Heechul quickly continued with his introduction of the other members, Siwon, Eunhyuk and Donghae. All of them were so nice to Anne, she was touched. She has never met people who are really nice and cared about her and her children eventhough they did not know her very well.

Afterwards, they started their journey to Jeju Island by Lee Teuk's MPV. They had to take a ferry in order to get there. While on the ferry, they had fun hanging out with the guys. They talked about many things during the travels. They even walked around the ferry and enjoyed the sea breeze. The children were excited to be on the ferry and Kimi was running around with Lee Teuk, Heechul, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Siwon. While Anne was sitting on the bench with Mira and Kibum. “Kibum, why don't you join them? They're having a blast.” Anne asked but there was no answer so she continued, “ Is something the matter? You seemed so distance Kibum.” “Nah, there's nothing really. Just thinking about my family. Missing them. You don't have to worry, okay?” He reassured her with a smile on his face. Along the way, all of them ate the bentou's Anne had made for them that morning. There were all kinds of sushi from tamago sushi to crab sushi. The children also loved sushi very much.

While eating, Kibum started continuing their conversation in English with Anne. It seemed that he was so comfortable talking to her using English. “ Anne, can I ask you something?” “ Yeah, what is it?” She was curious but she did not want to make it so awkward for him. “ Are you and hmm..Lee teuk hyung a couple? I was just wondering. He looked different after he met you the other day. And is Heechul hyung also into you? I've noticed it too. I'm sorry if I asked too many questions at the same time. This must be awkward for you right?” He lowered his voice so no one could hear them. The others were busy playing with Kimi and Mira. “ Yeah, they are and I do feel awkward about it. I like them both but it's still too early to decide and I don't want to hurt them. I've told them already but I guess they still want to wait for my answers. Hmm..it's so frustrating for me.” Anne explained. “ Well, if you ask me I would say go for your instinct. If you feel that Lee Teuk is the one than you should tell Heechul hyung. Same goes if it's the other way around.” Kibum gave her an advice. That made her felt relieved after telling her problem to him. 

When they arrived to the hotel, it was already lunch time so they decided to have lunch before going to their rooms. Afterwards, all of them went to their rooms to get some rest. Anne was staying in room 1111 while Lee Teuk, Enhyuk and Siwon were staying in room 1116 not far from her room. Meanwhile, Heechul, Kibum and Donghae were staying in room 1119 near to Lee Teuk's room. They were all very tired from the journey and took a nap before meeting again around 5p.m.for dinner. As Anne walked into the room, she saw it was a very big room with two single beds, furnitures and television in it. It had a nice lavender scent coming from the candles that was on the furnitures. She quickly put the kids to bed and changed into a black and white top wearing a cute hat with a small lavender flower on one side of it. 

She decided to take a walk around the hotel for a while before heading back to her room. As she was passing a group of people who were busy making a photoshoot, she accidentally knocked someone from behind. It was Jaejoong from Dong Bang Shin Ki! “ Oh, I'm sorry. Are you alright?” Jaejoong apologized to Anne. “ Yes, I'm fine. Don't worry okay?” She smiled. “ By the way, I'm Jaejoong from DBSK and you are..?” He asked politely. “ I'm Anne, nice to meet you.” She greeted him politely. “ Are you alone? I mean you're on a vacation right?” He asked and offered her a seat next near the swimming pool. They sat down and started talking to each other. “ No, I'm not alone. I'm here with the Super Junior and my kids of course.” She explained. “ Really? You're a friend of the guys? Why I haven't meet you before?” Jaejoong asked curiously.

“ Oh, that's because I just knew them a couple of days ago. I'm staying in the same building near their apartment. I'm here for a vacation. I'm currently studying at Tokyo University now, doing my

motor action training course there.” Anne explained some more. “ So, you can speak Japanese right?” Jaejoong spoke in Japanese language with her. “ Yes, I do speak Japanese but there are lot of things that I need to learn from the Japanese people.” She smiled. “You're right. I am too are still learning Japanese eventhough we have busy schedules. Do you have anything to do tonight? Could we have dinner together? I mean with the rest of the guys and your children of course. Please?” He invited her and Super Junior for dinner and she quickly agreed with him. 

“Yeah, I would love to have dinner with you. I've got to get going, Jaejoong. My kids are waiting for me. So, I'll see you around 5 at the lobby?” She confirmed. “Yeah, sure. I'll see you then.” He smiled and watched her walked into the hotel. “Jaejoongie, what are you doing there? We're supposed to finish this photo shoot around 4. Come on.” Yunho called out to him. “I'm coming Yunho. You want to hear a story? Super Junior are here in Jeju Island! They brought along a really beautiful woman with them. I've just got acquainted with her, she's really one of a kind..” Jaejoong explained to Yunho who was busy posing in front of the cameraman. “Ah, it looks like someone had a crush on that mysterious lady huh? I can't wait to meet her and the guys.” Yunho teased him. “ Speaking of meeting her, I've just invited her and the guys over dinner at 5. Then, you can really meet her in person.” Jaejoong smiled. He just cannot wait to see Anne again.

It was already 5:00 PM and Anne had taken her shower and also did her children. They were all wearing white that evening for dinner. Moments later, there was a ring at the door. It was Lee Teuk, who was also wearing a white T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans that matched her clothes. She too was wearing a white top, a printed love was written on her chest. She also wore a blue jeans and a white ribbon lace tied to her beautiful shoulder-length hair. “ You look beautiful as always, Anne.” He praised her and kissed her smooth small hand. “Thanks, Lee Teuk. You too look as handsome as always. Are the guys ready yet? I haven't see them.” She asked him and pushed Mira's wheelchair along the corridor. They went downstairs to meet the guys and also Dong Bang Shin Ki members. Lee Teuk was holding Kimi's hand and brought them to meet DBSKs' Yunho, Jaejoong, Changmin, Junsu and Yuchun. Anne were just behind them and she stood next to Kimi who was so eager to meet DBSK. 

“ Hi guys. It's been long since you guys went to Japan. You're here for work? Or vacation?” Lee Teuk asked. “ Yeah, we're here for work of course. And who might this young man be?” Jaejoong said and squawking next to Kimi. “Hello, nice to meet you , uncles. My name is Kimi. That's my big sister, Mira. And not forgetting my lovely Mama, Anne.” Kimi introduced politely. “ What a clever boy. Uncle Jaejoong really likes you Kimi. Can all of us be your good friends?” Jaejoong asked playfully.

“ Yes, you can. My Mama said it's alright. Right,Mama?” Kimi exclaimed. “ Yes, you may, honey. Sorry about my boy, guys. I guess he really likes you guys. By the way, I'm Anne. Nice to meet you guys.” She said politely. Then, they went into the cafe where they sat together around a big oval-shaped table.

Lee Teuk had asked the chef to make a separate dish for Anne and her children. Anne was so happy and overwhelmed by his caring character. She mouthed 'thank you' to him and smiled. The foods prepared by the chefs were delicious and suited her taste. Her children also loved eating them. Anne was sitting next to Jaejoong and her kids. Whilst, all the Super Junior were sitting across her table. So, it meant that all the DBSK were sitting near to her side of the table. After having dinner, they started talking to each other. Even Kimi was playing around with Super Junior members as well as DBSK members, Yuhno, Changmin and Junsu. They were all enjoying themselves. “So, Anne. I heard from the guys that you're an English teacher and you can speak Japanese too. That's quite impressive.” Yuchun started to ask her questions using English language. “ Yeah, I'm a teacher but now I'm studying at Tokyo University for my motor action training course. I know you too are very fluent speaking in English right?” She answered smiling.
